FOLLOW THE STEPS OF KING ALFONSO XIII

Journey along the incredible walkway of the Caminito del Rey on a spectacular route of vertiginous footbridges. Discover one of the most beautiful natural enclaves in Spain just north of Málaga on a half-day excursion.

Relax with breathtaking views and landscapes through a walkway pinned along the steep walls of the Gorge Los Gaitanes located in El Chorro Natural Park. El Caminito del Rey owes its name to the visit of King Alfonso XIII in 1921, when he opened it.

This amazing trail has previously been described as “the most dangerous road in the world”, but more recent renovations of the actual wooden boardwalk have turned this path into a safe and relaxing experience and made it one of the main tourist attractions on the Costa del Sol. The estimated time needed to walk the entire route is between 2 and 3 hours.

ROCK FORMATIONS AND STUNNING VIEWS

Do not forget to bring your camera and capture the dramatic breathtaking scenery. Wonder at the rugged rock formations and enjoy the stunning views of the lake. Pluck up the courage to cross the 105-metre-high suspension bridge from which you can contemplate the grandeur of emptiness.
