Gibraltar is well known worldwide for its dramatic Rock, at almost 1,400 feet high, covered by a beautiful Nature Reserve throughout most of its upper area. The Rock is an unchallenged centrepiece towering over the city and the vast ocean underneath and offers many amazing things to do.

Our tour includes the following attractions:

• The Pillars of Hercules – just above Europe Point, offer spectacular views of North Africa. You will be at the tip of Europe, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea.

• The St. Michael’s Cave – a natural cave formed millions of years ago consisting of an upper hall, a smaller hall and a succession of chambers. Enjoy the best experience of the natural beauty of the caves, called The Awakening, thanks to the lighting and sound system introduced in 2021. It reveals layer upon layer of history fused with the Rock.

• The Top of the Rock with the Skywalk and Monkeys – after seeing O’Hara’s Battery, visit the Skywalk, a former military lookout transformed into a glass platform and walkway giving an unbroken 360º panoramic viewpoint. Spend some time with the famous Monkeys at Upper Apes Den – a breed only found in Gibraltar within the continent of Europe.

• The Great Siege Tunnels – an impressive network of tunnels built to defend Gibraltar against the Spanish and French forces who tried to recapture Gibraltar from the British during the Great Siege (1779-1783). This site is an excellent insight into the history of the Rock.
